Cependant, \u00e0 mesure que le pH augmente, cet acide se dissocie en hypochlorite (ClO<sup>-<\/sup>), ce qui diminue consid\u00e9rablement son pouvoir oxydant et son efficacit\u00e9 d\u00e9sinfectante \u00e0 un pH sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 7,0, bien que sa stabilit\u00e9 augmente.\r\n\r\nLe chlore garantit une excellente efficacit\u00e9 d\u00e9sinfectante \u00e0 un co\u00fbt d'application tr\u00e8s \u00e9conomique, tout en permettant un dosage simple et un contr\u00f4le ais\u00e9 du r\u00e9sidu.\r\n\r\nSelon l'application pour laquelle l'hypochlorite de sodium est utilis\u00e9, il existe diff\u00e9rents cadres r\u00e9glementaires europ\u00e9ens r\u00e9gissant son utilisation.\r\n<h2>Utilisation comme biocide<\/h2>\r\nDans le cadre du <strong>R\u00e8glement (UE) 528\/2012 sur les produits biocides (BPR)<\/strong>, l'hypochlorite de sodium est une substance active biocide essentielle pour la d\u00e9sinfection de tous les types de surfaces et installations dans le domaine m\u00e9dical, alimentaire, v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire et industriel\/institutionnel, ainsi que pour les traitements de d\u00e9sinfection de l'eau, ce qui permet son autorisation en tant que produits biocides de type PT 2-3-4-5.\r\n\r\nDans l'industrie alimentaire, l'hypochlorite de sodium est largement utilis\u00e9 pour la d\u00e9sinfection du mat\u00e9riel, des installations et des surfaces (biocide PT4), ainsi que pour la potabilisation de l'eau (biocide PT5). Son utilisation garantit la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 microbiologique des denr\u00e9es alimentaires, conform\u00e9ment aux normes d'hygi\u00e8ne \u00e9tablies par les autorit\u00e9s sanitaires.\r\n\r\nDans le secteur m\u00e9dical, l'hypochlorite de sodium joue un r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 dans la d\u00e9sinfection des surfaces et des installations sanitaires (biocide PT2), contribuant \u00e0 pr\u00e9venir la propagation des infections nosocomiales.\r\n\r\nPour les processus de traitement de l'eau, l'hypochlorite de sodium est largement utilis\u00e9 pour la d\u00e9sinfection de l'eau des piscines (biocide PT2), la potabilisation de l'eau destin\u00e9e \u00e0 la consommation humaine ou animale (biocide PT5) et les traitements de d\u00e9sinfection des installations o\u00f9 le risque de l\u00e9gionellose (biocide PT11) repr\u00e9sente un risque pour la sant\u00e9 publique.\r\n\r\nLes d\u00e9sinfectants \u00e0 base d'hypochlorite de sodium doivent disposer de l'autorisation correspondante en tant que produit biocide, conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 la PT \u00e0 laquelle ils sont destin\u00e9s. l'hypochlorite de sodium est \u00e9galement largement utilis\u00e9 comme auxiliaire technologique alimentaire, \u00e9tant autoris\u00e9 \u00e0 cette fin dans diff\u00e9rents pays de l'UE.\r\n\r\nEn France, l\u2019arr\u00eat\u00e9 du 19 octobre 2006 relatif \u00e0 l'emploi d'auxiliaires technologiques dans la fabrication de certaines denr\u00e9es alimentaires autorise l'utilisation de l'hypochlorite de sodium comme agent de traitement des eaux de lavage et d\u00e9sinfection des fruits et l\u00e9gumes.\r\n\r\nLes auxiliaires technologiques doivent \u00eatre fabriqu\u00e9s par des entreprises disposant d'un enregistrement sanitaire pour les industries<u> et produits alimentaires<\/u>.\r\n<h2>Conclusions<\/h2>\r\nGr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son excellente capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 combattre les micro-organismes pathog\u00e8nes, l'hypochlorite de sodium appara\u00eet comme un \u00e9l\u00e9ment cl\u00e9 dans la pr\u00e9vention et le contr\u00f4le des maladies infectieuses, tant pour son r\u00f4le de biocide valid\u00e9 par le r\u00e8glement 528\/2012 que pour sa fonction <strong>d\u2019auxiliaire<\/strong> technologique alimentaire en vertu <strong>de l\u2019arr\u00eat\u00e9 du 19 octobre 2006.<\/strong>\r\n\r\nSa polyvalence et son efficacit\u00e9 en font un outil pr\u00e9cieux pour la pr\u00e9vention et le contr\u00f4le des maladies infectieuses, ainsi que pour garantir la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et la qualit\u00e9 dans diverses applications industrielles, sanitaires et agricoles.\r\n\r\nEn fonction du cadre r\u00e9glementaire applicable \u00e0 chaque utilisation de
